Pricing Information (Please select delivery location) Product Description"The Christmas tree has gone up, Olympia is under way, and another year is coming to a close. This issue celebrates the most memorable moments of 2007.
It feels far longer than seven and a half months ago that I stood among the crowds at Badminton waiting interminably for another horse to appear as a surprisingly forthright interview with a disgruntled Mary King was broadcast over the PA system. Her decision not to participate did her no harm in the long run — she went on to win the British Open Championship at Gatcombe plus individual silver and team gold medals at the European Championships. Soon after a sultry Badminton came the rain that 2007 will be remembered for. Shows around the country had to cancel or postpone, showing riders found themselves scrubbing off the sort of mud you expect to encounter only hunting through plough, hay and grain prices escalated and in one dreadful week in July, H&H found itself without a single page of eventing coverage. Just when the weather started to improve, foot-and-mouth broke out — it wasn't an altogether vintage year. Undaunted, however, we look forward to 2008 and the Olympics in particular at which, ironically, everyone will hope for a pre-competition deluge to clear the air and lower the temperature. Until then, enjoy some good hunting, a very happy Christmas, and one of this week's suggested hipflask concoctions to stave off the cold." NEWS
